Geeky blogs almost melted down this week when the first trailer for Guillermo Del Toro's sci-fi robot versus alien slugfest was released. Concerning the invasion of Earth by aliens who arrived via a portal in the sea, Pacific Rim presents a new spin on the alien/ monster movie: "To Fight Monsters, We Created Monsters."
